Wraparound care – before and after school care
Whilst consultation remains open, we are delighted to confirm, that due to parental response, that the school will be offering a breakfast club and after school clubs for wraparound care beyond the school day. We hope that this is welcome news and we are pleased to be able to respond to this demand whilst the admissions window remains open to support families in making such an important decision for their children.
Consultation opens Monday 5 November 2018 and closes at 5pm on Friday 21 December 2018.
Flying High will be consulting on an ongoing basis with all members of the local community to ensure the new school is fit for purpose and meets the needs of local children, families and wider members of the Hucknall community. As part of the new school opening process we will be entering into a formal consultation period with activities and meetings scheduled for all to ensure everyone has the opportunity to have a voice in shaping the new community.
The first meeting will take place on Tuesday 21 November, 1-2:30pm and repeated again 6-7:30pm. This meeting will enable parents, families and the community to provide feedback on the new school and also a fantastic opportunity to meet the newly appointed Head teacher and their hopes for the school and community. This meeting will take place at Rolls Royce Leisure on Watnall Road, NG15 6EP – parking available on site.
During the consultation period there will be further meetings with specific groups. For full details of the consultation timeline please click on the documents below:
